HDT ( Heavy Duty Tilting Control )

“Heavy weight tilt control” for office chairs usually refers to a mechanism that allows the chair to tilt forward and backward, providing ergonomic support and comfort for the user. The HDT feature is usually optional for manager or director class work chairs.

Robust Construction: Heavy duty tilt controls are designed to withstand frequent use and support heavier weights compared to standard office chair tilt mechanisms. Made from metal which is able to withstand heavy loads and provides softness to the swing of your work chair.

The HDT feature can lock the slope according to the user's wishes

  • HDT (Heavy Duty Tilting) functions as a tilt adjustment. With a heavy load, the chair can be tilted up to 45 degrees and can be locked at the tilt desired by the user. For user weights up to 150 KG
  • The HDT tilt adjustment is one unit between the backrest and the seat

For chairs with HDT features you can find: Here

Syncro HDT

Syncro Tilt Mechanism: Syncro tilt mechanism is a type of chair tilt mechanism that allows synchronization of movement between the seat and backrest. This means that when the user leans back, the chair will also tilt back at a predetermined ratio, maintaining ergonomic alignment between the user's torso and thighs. The syncro tilt mechanism is designed to promote a comfortable and healthy sitting posture by distributing pressure evenly and reducing strain on the lower back.

  • Syncro HDT (Heavy Duty Tilting) functions as a tilt adjustment. With a heavy load, the chair can be tilted up to 45 degrees and can be locked at the tilt desired by the user. For user weights up to 150 KG
  • The Syncro HDT tilt setting only applies to the backrest, the seat position has different settings
