BLUE FIRE OF IJEN CRATER

The beauty of Kawah Ijen with its world-renowned natural phenomenon is undeniable. The Blue Fire is one of the main attractions of Kawah Ijen, as the night blanket arrives, revealing blue flames from the depths of the Ijen crater. This natural phenomenon, caused by the sublimation of sulfur gas reaching temperatures of over 200 degrees, produces Blue Fire, which exists in only two places in the world. As the morning sun begins to sweep away the darkness of the night, an extremely exotic natural view emerges. The crater with the largest acidic substance in the world, the natural patterns formed around the crater walls, and the activities of sulfur miners and climbers blend into an exotic sight.

Gunung Ijen is a "volcano" located on the border of Banyuwangi Regency and "Bondowoso Regency" "East Java" "Indonesia">Indonesia. This mountain has an elevation of 2,386 "Mdpl". Gunung Ijen last erupted in 1999. One of the most famous natural phenomena of Gunung Ijen is the blue fire in the crater located at the summit of the mountain. The hike to this mountain can start from two places, namely from "Banyuwangi" or from Bondowoso]. The Ijen Crater is an acidic "Lake" crater located at the summit of Gunung Ijen with a lake depth of 200 meters and a crater area of 5,466 hectares. The eternal blue fire phenomenon or eternal blue fire is found in the Ijen crater, and this natural view only occurs in two places in the world, namely "Dallol, Ethiopia" and Ijen. Its floor is completely covered by a warm lake, a milky blue-green color, held back by a dam built many years ago by the Dutch, to keep the mineral-rich hot water from the rain of the plants below.
