"Be Prepared for Odd-Even during Eid Mudik Monitored by ETLE"
The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police implements traffic engineering during the Eid al-Fitr homecoming and return flow in 2025. The odd-even (Gage) system is one of the measures enforced during the homecoming and return flow.
The Director of Law Enforcement (Dirgakum) of the Korlantas Polri, Brigadier General Raden Slamet Santoso, stated that the odd-even scheme will be monitored by the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) or electronic ticketing cameras, which are located on several toll road sections during the homecoming route.
"The enforcement of gauge violators using static ETLE," said Slamet to reporters on Monday (24/3/2025).
"Riders, he said, will not be subjected to manual ticketing. However, if riders violate this rule, Slamet continued, they will be directed straight to the arterial lane where the gage rules are not applied."

Implementation of One Way and Contraflow
"In addition to the odd-even policy, the Korlantas Polri has also prepared traffic engineering to alleviate congestion on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road during the 2025 Eid homecoming. Contraflow and one-way systems will be implemented starting Thursday, March 27, 2025."
Kakorlantas Polri Irjen Agus Suryo Nugroho said that this traffic engineering is designed to ensure a smoother and safer journey for the public.
"In facing this year's Eid, we together with all stakeholders have prepared strategic steps to ensure that the homecoming flow runs smoothly, safely, and comfortably," said Inspector General Agus, quoted from the Polri Public Relations website, Saturday (22/3/2025).

The second contraflow period will be implemented starting Monday (31/3) from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM WIB and Tuesday (1/4) from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM WIB.
The next scheme, One Way will be implemented on Km 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road up to Km 414 of the Semarang-Batang Toll Road. The one way scheme on these two lanes will be in effect from Thursday (March 27) at 2:00 PM WIB until Saturday (March 29) at 12:00 AM WIB.
"When the peak of the homecoming flow occurs, it is usually H-3 before Idul Fitri. We will implement a one-way system, called the national one-way. We will carry that out. This also applies during the return flow later. So H-3 or H-2, we will announce when the surge in traffic occurs, we will implement a one-way return flow," said Irjen Agus.
